Biathlon has a long tradition with Barentscooperation, and there is good contact between the four countries.

Friday March 31th
12.00 – 16.00 Arrival in Narvik, accreditation and check-in at the hotels
12.00 – 18.30 Registration office in the hotel is open
12.00 – 17.00 Official practice on the track in Bjerkvik
18.00 – 20.00 Dinner at the hotel
20.00 – 21.00 Opening Ceremony at Grand Royal Hotel
21.30 - Team leader meeting at the hotel (possible earlier in the afternoon),

Saturday April 1th
07.00 – 09.00 Breakfast at the hotel
09.00 Transportation to the arena, 25 minutes of transport
10.15 – 11.15 Test Shooting
11.30 Competition start biathlon, mass-start
12.30 – 14.00 Lunch in Bjerkvikhallen
14.30 Medal Ceremony
15.00 Transportation back to the hotel for biathlon, alternatively 17:30 with
cross-country

D 15-16 + H 15-16 years: Distance: 3x2 km, mass-start. Weapon on shooting-range
D 17-18 + D 19-20 years: Distance: 2-1,3-1,3-1,3-2 km, mass-start. Weapon on back.
H 17-18 + H 19-20 years: Distance: 5x2 km, mass-start. Weapon on back.
SUNDAY
D 15-16 years: Distance 2x1,3 km + 2 km, individual sprint. Weapon on shooting-range
H 15-16 years: Distance 2x1,3 km + 2,5 km, individual sprint. Weapon on shooting-range
D 17-18 + D 19-20 years: Distance 3x2 km, individual sprint. Weapon on back.
H 17-18 + H 19-20 years: Distance 3x2,5 km, mass-start. Weapon on back.
Important information about ski-waxing:
Use of products containing fluor on skis for participants in 15-16 years class is forbidden in
Norway.
EU/EØS have also forbidden production, sales and use of products that contains C8/PFOA, for
all participants and every classes. We appreciate that the rules will be respected.
There will be possible to wax skis in a big tent on the stadium. There will be electric power
available. Equipment for waxing must brought along with the teams.
