The excitement is building as we are just two weeks away from Barents Winter Games 2025! From March 28 to March 30, we will gather in Alta, Norway, for a weekend of thrilling competitions, new friendships, and unforgettable moments. With 10 different sports, this event will be a true celebration of sportsmanship and cross-border cooperation.

Throughout the weekend, you will have the chance to showcase your skills and compete against some of the best young athletes from the Barents region. Whether you're aiming for a podium finish or just excited to participate, the Barents Winter Games is all about giving your best and enjoying the spirit of competition.

The Band En Ting Til Felles / One Thing In Common will play during the Get Together
The Get Together – Saturday Night Fun!
After a full day of competitions on Saturday, March 29, it’s time to unwind and have fun at the Get Together event at Scandic Hotel Alta from 20:00 to 22:00. This is your chance to relax, socialize, and meet athletes from different sports and countries.
What’s in store?
Games & Activities – Enjoy table tennis, carpet curling, board games, crafts, gaming, and fun competitions with prizes.
Live Music – Experience a free concert from the local band "En Ting Til Felles", performing two mini-concerts at 20:15–20:45 and 21:15–21:45.
A Great Atmosphere – Connect with fellow athletes, make new friends, and celebrate the unique spirit of the Barents Winter Games.

If you haven’t already, make sure to check your travel details and pack everything you need. Alta is known for its cold but beautiful winter conditions, so bring warm clothes, proper sports gear, and a great attitude! But we are sure you already know all of this 😀
