Program Futsal
Here is the program for Futsal during Barents Winter Games 2025 in Alta.
The program is subject to change and will be updated continuously.
First and foremost, we would like to extend a warm welcome to all nations and teams joining us for an exciting weekend of futsal!
The same Futsal Laws apply to every match, ensuring consistency and fairness. This event is also an opportunity to promote and uphold the spirit of futsal worldwide.
It is important that match officials, players, and all participants keep the following in mind:
Referees should enforce the Futsal Laws while respecting the “spirit” of the game to ensure fair and safe matches.
Everyone must respect match officials and their decisions, recognizing the integrity of the Futsal Laws.
Players play a key role in shaping the image of the game. Team captains, in particular, have a responsibility to uphold the spirit of futsal by ensuring that both the Futsal Laws and referees’ decisions are respected.
The tournament will feature both boys’ and girls’ teams, with players aged 16 to 20. Matches will take place on a 20x40 meter court using a futsal ball. Each team will have four outfield players plus a goalkeeper on the pitch at any given time. Matches will be played in two halves of 20 minutes each.
We look forward to an unforgettable weekend of competition and sportsmanship!
