Artistic Gymnastics

Due to challenges with gymnastics facilities in Alta, Gymnastics Artistics will be held in Narvik, Norway March 21st to 23rd 2025.

Narvik Turnforening are happy to invite to the annual Artistic Gymnastics Barents Competition 2025.

We are proud to continue this great tradition that started back in 1956, when the first Kalottkampen was held in Kiruna.

Here is some information on the competitition:

Age group

15 - 25 Years old.
Older athletes can be exepted.
Team structure

1 Head of delegation
MAG: 5 gymnasts, 1 coach, 2 judges
WAG: 5 gymnasts, 1 coach, 2 judges
Classes

MAG/WAG
The competition rules are going to be the FIG Code of Points JUNIOR rules.

Friday March 21th

12.00 – 16.00 Arrival in Narvik, accreditation and check-in at the hotels

17.00 - 20.00 Podium training (no schedules on apparatuses/open gym)

Saturday March 22nd

10.00-11.50 Warm up

WAG floor 10.40-11.20 and WAG vault 11:20-11:50
MAG vault 10:40-11:20 and MAG floor 11:20-11:50

11:00 Judges meeting

11:55 March in for gymnasts

12:00 Competition (team, all around, apparatus)
Price ceremony right after competition

18:00 Barents meeting for coaches, judges and head of delegations at Grand Royal Hotel

19:00 Banquet at Grand Royal Hotel

Sunday March 23th

Home departure

Payment: Navik Turnforening will send an invoice and it must be covered before the competition.
Please include your club’s billing information in the registration
Landing mats

GYMNOVA competition landing mats.
Extra landing mats are allowed in all other apparatuses but MAG pommel horse.
Costs

Entry fee:
65 eur / gymnast
25 eur / coach/judge
Including competiton fee, saturday lunch and saturday evening banquet.
Each delegation must cover their own travel expenses

All gymnasts must have insurance that covers competition abroad.
