Judo is a new sport in Barents Games, and will take place for the first time in BSG2017 in Bodø.

Team structure
12 athletes, 6 girls and 6 boys from each country.
Competition program
15-20 years: 4 lightest weight classes, 20 – 25 years 2 heaviest weight classes.
Judo in the BSG will be held in the following age/gender weight categories:
Women 15 – 20 years: -44, -48 kg, -52 kg, -57 kg.
Women 20 – 25 years: -63 kg, -70 kg
Men 15 – 20 years: -55 kg, -60 kg, -66 kg, -73 kg
Men 20 – 25 years: -81 kg, -90 kg
Team competition 5 athletes on each team: 2 women and 3 men:
Women: -57 and +57
Men: -66, -73 and +73
Individual competition Saturday on two mats. First individual matches, then team competitions.
Sunday: Training session.
