Tennis is a new sport in Barents Sports. It is a relatively small sport but with solid traditions. Both boys and girls aged 15–25 played. Participants compete in both double and single matches. Norway, Sweden and Finland are equal. There are not many players in the Murmansk-region. Russia has not participated in tennis so far.

12 players (6 boys and 6 girls) participate:

  • 2 senior men/2 women under 25 years
  • 2 boys/2 girls 18 years

2 boys/2 girls 15 years

When Barents Winter Games takes place in Luleå 16-18 March 2018, more than 1000 young athletes from Sweden, Norway, Finland and Russia will compete in 15 different sports, including three parasports.
